When my mind is unaware
All I have is Love
Recently, I have come into contact with the idea that a generous heart is a pathway to freedom. The value of generosity goes way deeper than finances or time.
Generosity is a spirit of life devoted to growth and expansion much the same as the wind carries seed to its next fertile soil. There is no effort, it carries the seed because that is the wind's nature.
I have experienced both gifts and giving and each one, when connected to a grateful heart nurtures the cultivation of Rumi’s field beyond right-doing and wrongdoing. The ground in that field is fertile because of love and so is generosity.
I hold the image of a world where generous hearts share their passion for love, for peace, and for the expansion and evolution of mankind. It is no sacrifice, it is our nature.
