An incredibly authentic essay on your view and reasoning for meditation. Being a great believer in self-examination I enjoy reading those who, in my opinion, have decided to be real with themselves. And, what better way to get there than to let go of everything and just be!

“ I care about living consciously and respectfully towards Planet Earth. This is why I write.”

When I read these words I thought. “no one can authentically feel this way about mother earth unless they care about themselves.” Making “I” statements establishes personal responsibility for what is said. It indicates to me that I am hearing a view from the heart and “nothing is more important to me than a dialogue with authentically vulnerable people.”

This writing caused me to reflect on my own reasons for meditation so I trust you will recognize the importance of your contribution to humanity. One word, one sentence, one moment of joyful, selfless expression is all it takes to change a life…yours or someone else's.

Bravo, my friend, and congratulations on “trying,” for sometimes brilliantly, there is no difference between “what life really is and what we make of it.”

A believer in Lifelong Learning and Collaborative Wisdom, remembering Who I AM through essay, story, and poetry. Listening for narratives that nurture Life.
