Gratitude at the end of the day

I’m learning to practice

honing the requital stone

bridging the crystal stage

looking back, reflecting on hours

whetting the edge of grace

polishing the great fullness of now

appreciating each tick of the 24's

individual events, blessed and cursed

became divine stanchions and

pastel sanctions of the heart

beams for brighter days

recollection, reflection, awareness

of all I cannot know

buoyant amusement, delightful wonder

indebted for today’s momentary requiem

Then I lay me down to sleep

at peace for one more night.

Thank you!
