I appreciate your perspective here Aisha. What struck me as most important in my learning here is the “cultivation” of passion or curiosity and any number of other possible phrases to describe a possible life direction.

For me, I have learned to be aware of my thoughts, emotions, and circumstances. This awareness allows me to be more conscious of my actions and subsequent behavior in most endeavors.

Thank you also for your highlighting of self-care for women of color, a long overdue and necessary undertaking.
