Improvement
It’s all from within
Inspiration comes from seeing the top of the mountain I wish to climb
Confidence is knowing I can climb it.
I realize that the mountain is out there AND in my mind.
I can easily ascend the one in my head and so the trek begins,
Achievement of my grandest dreams is summoned when I decide
that I do not have to fly like an eagle to perch upon the crest
but better if I walk as human, with gratitude for each step.
It is from within that I reach out, step out, and be who I am
It is from within I see my direction and it is from inside
the field which embraces my waiting dreams…
I choose to go forward, standing on the edge, leaning into the winds of change.
