In These Times
A poetic view of now
‘These times they are a changin” or so the lyric goes
And yet they are so now, so now, so now.
Long ago when time was then, I wondered what I’d see
when the now of now began and laid its hands on me.
I can say I did not see this now, nor could I see it then,
I grieve for times of long ago when time for me, would bend.
and now I wonder what time it is if time is all I have.
The limits of the ages move my spirit into salve,
and every time I hear the wind it whispers — we’re home.
I’ve heard it spoken there is no time, just one eternal now,
So I ask you, dear friend, what time is it where you are?
For Peace and Love at this moment!
