Thank you Kerstin!

When I began my internal work in earnest 8 years ago, I began with the idea that I needed courage. What I have discovered, and what you remind me of here, is that courage is not a one time deal. I cannot just use it when it serves me, but I must continually develop a PRACTICE of standing, raising, fighting, facing, bearing, rising, embracing, surrendering, and promising. And I would like to add, BEING - Courage.

My journey is not yet complete and there are rungs on the ladder of courage that I must still climb. I am grateful for the heroes who have shown me what the ascent might look like!

I take, with you, the oath of courage to heal our battered souls.
