Thank you Sylvia for such a tragic reminder. And while I agree with what I believe is under your message here it is my belief that like the atrocities in Europe, Russia, Cambodia, in our own South and elsewhere here in America, and around the world...we should never forget that what we see is born of ignorance and apathy.

In many ways the blood of innocent people is on the hands of those who advocate and empower this ignorance blindly.

My heart is broken and I hope I can hold it open long enough for the light of peace and understanding to enter. For if it closes before that light enters I will more than likely repeat the tragedy of hatred.
